Palm: Serious Tweaking for a Palm PDA

Warning- May result in Hard Reset and Loss of Data

Have you ever wanted to do some serious tweaking on your Palm. Well, with the Quartus RsrcEdit Palm Resource Editor you can. This is a great learning tool for those who desire to learn Palm programming. Basically RsrEdit is a shareware Palm Developer's tool that will let you edit several areas of a PDA program such as:
  • Form (tFRM)
  • Menu(MBAR)
  • Alert (Talt)
  • String (tSTR)
  • Icon (tAIB)
  • Application Name (tAIN)
  • Version string (tver)
  • Bitmap (Tbmp) resources

This program is great if you have black and white icons you want to change to color or even make custom icons. You also can change text, so instead of your game saying "you lose" it can say "you're the greatest.

For people who want to understand how a program works, this is the perfect tool.

Warning-Only use this program if you are comfortable with the possibility that you may damage and make inoperable programs on your PDA, resulting in a Hard Reset. Always have a backup of your programs before proceeding. Do not use if you are not comfortable tinkering under the hood of your PDA.

Okay, now that I scared you, have fun!
